Restoring Original Mid-Century Interiors
Many mid-century homes rely on warm timber, simple lines, restrained finishes and carefully made joinery. When those surfaces are covered with heavy modern coatings or altered too aggressively, the original character can disappear very quickly.
My approach is to work with what is already there. I repair and stabilise original material where possible, rather than replacing it simply because it shows age.

Working With the Original Materials
